Once again the Alger
County Fair and the
Chatham Lions Homecoming
have combined their
events. We live in a
unique area of Michigan
and the purpose of the
fair has always been to
reflect the many ways we
live, work and play here
in Alger County and the
Upper Peninsula. During
the weekend, each group
will continue to provide
their own programs and
more. All at the same
place and time. |

This booklet is all
about the Fair and lists
the categories of
products, talents,
creations, etc., that
may be entered for
exhibit in the fair. We
have tried to reflect
the most prevalent in
the County. Exhibitors
are not limited to Alger
County. |
|
The fair receives the
major portion of its
funds for premiums from
the Michigan Department
of Agriculture. The fees
paid by the advertisers
in this book supply the
remainder plus cover
almost all the other
expenses incurred in
putting on a fair. The
Fair Board would
appreciate your
cooperation by
supporting the firms
carrying the
advertisements. |
