GENERAL RULES |
|
|
|
1. Anyone may enter
exhibits in the fair. |
|
2. All exhibits (except
animals) must be in
place for exhibition by
5 p.m. on Entry Day. |
|
3. All livestock may be
pre-registered (See How
to Enter Exhibits). |
|
4. RESPONSIBILITY: The
Fair will take
reasonable precautions
against loss or injury
to exhibits, but will
not be responsible for
loss, damage or injury
to any animal exhibited
or articles of any kind
that may be lost or
destroyed or in any way
injured. |

5. All protests must be
in writing and made to
the Fair Office before
closing of the Fair on
Sunday. |
|
6. All exhibits must
comply with State
Regulations governing
exhibitions. |
|
7. The Fair Board
reserves the option of
making decisions not
covered by official
rules and regulations as
published. |
|
8. No exhibitor will be
allowed to interfere
with the judging
committee. Anyone so
interfering will forfeit
their premium and the
exhibit(s) may be
removed from the
grounds. |
|
9. The first letter of
your Last name and the
last 4 digits of your
Social Security Number
will be used as your
registration number. |
|
10. The Fair Board will
not be responsible for
inaccurate
registrations. |
|
11. The Fair Board will
not conduct drug testing
on livestock. |
|
12. No dogs
allowed on fairgrounds
unless authorized. |

APPEALS AND COMPLAINTS:
An exhibitor compelled
to bring a complaint
regarding conflict of
interest of the judge,
disqualification of an
exhibit or exhibitor;
Exhibitor, group leader
or superintendent’s
behavior, or eligibility
of an exhibit shall make
a formal protest in
writing to the Fair
Board no later than ten
days following the end
of fair. |

All protests shall be
referred to the
Executive Board, which
shall review the protest
with interested parties
and give parties an
opportunity to submit
evidence. The party
against whom the protest
was filed shall have the
right to read the
statement of protest. |

|
A report of findings
shall be made to the
Fair Board for final
decision on the protest
within 10 days of the
original complaint. The
Fair Board shall issue
an opinion within 2
weeks of receiving the
recommendations from the
Executive Board. |

|
An exhibitor may file
appeal to the Department
of Agriculture within 45
days of filing the
initial complaint if the
exhibitor is not
satisfied with the
Association’s action.
The Department of
Agriculture shall have
60 days after receipt of
any appropriately filed
appeal to investigate
the complaint, and issue
a finding of fact and
notice of department
action and any
recommended actions for
the Association. |
