Nifty Thrifty is a non-profit organization that helps
people with Rent, Utilities, Fuel and Food.
There is also a Loan closet for medical equipment and
supplies such as wheel chairs, walkers, commodes, crutches, etc...
Approximately 180 families are served each year from
the whole U.P. area, Not only Alger County.
New and used clothes are sold at the Nifty Thrifty
for $3.00 per bag.
Donations are the main source of Revenue for the
Nifty Thrifty to enable the organization to keep helping those in need.
There are very few places in the U.P. to help people when they need it.
Donations are greatly appreciated and needed.
